Prints in the genius series are limited edition, and inspired by influential figures in science and more.
I was curious to see what the prints actually looked like in person, and I think they are pretty close to the mockups we saw when the prints were announced.
Irwin is inspired by Steve Irwin, A.K.A. “The Crocodile Hunter.” You will see shades of grasshopper, ribbit & mirror, along with some dark green & purple. The print is camo style done with animals and has ribbit colored closure and rise snaps.
Maathai is inspired by Kenyan botanist and environmental activist, Wangari Muta Maatha. The print features blossom with mirror, sassy & white flowers, along with shades of deep orange, and little ladybugs. The rise and female closure snaps are blossom, with white, mirror, ribbit and sassy male closure snaps/caps.
