ERGObaby Doll Carrier

My son didn’t have many requests for his third birthday, but he was adamant that he wanted a carrier like I used to hold his brother.

At the time I was using my Sakura Bloom Ring Sling, so I looked at the Sakura Bloom Children’s Play Slings, but settled on the Ergo since it was less expensive, machine washable, super adorable, and a gender neutral color.

The carrier has a padded waist and padded shoulder straps:

There’s a “pocket” for the doll, to make it easier for your child to use the carrier.

Like the “real” ERGObaby carrier, the doll carrier buckles at the waist and back.

The carrier adjusts at the waist and shoulder straps, to fit a wide range of children and dolls comfortably.

My children are rather petite, but the carrier fit my 7 1/2 year old daughter, with plenty of room to adjust for a larger child:

The doll carrier also fit my 31-ish pound 3 year old, and I think it would fit a smaller child as well.

The carrier is the perfect size for a child, can be worn on front or back, and can be machine washed & dried (on the gentle cycles.) The doll carrier retails for $25 which seems pricey at first, but this is a high quality toy. I’m certain I will be able to pass it on, donate or sell it when my 3 children are finished with it. I think this would be an awesome gift for a new big brother or sister!

Thanks for the review! I have been contemplating getting this for my child, but haven’t because I’ve seen some mixed reviews…… complaints about the shoulder straps coming off because there was no buckle across the back, but clearly yours does….I wonder if that was a recent improvement on the carrier.

I just bought mine in May, so maybe it is new! We’ve had no issues with it at all so far!
