Karissa wonders:

What is the best way to strip microfiber inserts?

Microfiber holds on to stink more than any other fiber, but fortunately, it is the easiest to strip, and the most difficult to damage. I find the best way to strip microfiber is to keep it simple. Bleach is an excellent boost, but I realize some people do not use chlorine bleach. If that’s the case, consider using oxygenated bleach like Oxiclean free.

Put your microfiber inserts in the washer, with a half scoop of oxygenated bleach, or 1/4 cup of chlorine bleach in the bleach dispenser. Use the largest load setting and the most heavy duty cycle your washer has. Then simply continue with hot washes (no additives or detergent) until the inserts smell like nothing but clean, and you do not see suds or residue in the water.

How do you strip your inserts?

What a simple and easy tutorial! And thanks for sharing that tip about Oxiclean being a bleach alternative.
