Eco Nuts Organic Cleaners: Clean Without Chemicals

EcoNuts Organic Cleaners Review

Katie received complimentary review products. Change-Diapers was not otherwise compensated for this post, and all opinions are Katie’s own. As promised, I’m back with another Eco Nuts review! If you read our Eco Nuts laundry detergent review, you know all about their awesome laundry products. Now, I’m going to talk about the cleaning products they sent me.

Eco Nuts Reusable towels Review

When you have kids, you clean up a ton of messes, and we go through so many paper towels per day that we really needed an eco-friendlier option for cleaning. I was happy to try Eco Nuts reusable towels, which are made with soft bamboo rayon and are much softer than regular paper towels. They are even slightly thicker than the paper towels we’ve used previously and the best part is, they’re reusable! Use the towel to clean up as many messes as you can, then toss it aside to wash and reuse it when it’s clean. There are 25 sheets per roll, so there are plenty to get you through until it’s time to wash them. They also have many other uses than just around the house: they’re tough enough to be used in shops, strong enough to be used as a pad for mops and you can use them with any of the Eco Nuts cleaners. My kids really liked these because of how soft they are, and I think they absorb well and do a great job at cleaning up messes. They’re super easy to clean and they’ve been lasting us quite some time. A 25 sheet package of reusable towels retails for $11.99 and a portion of the proceeds of each purchase will go towards panda conservation.

The Eco Nuts organic spray and mop floor cleaner is an orange citrus scented cleaner, which is a really great gentle smell. The bottle is 16 fluid ounces and is reusable/recyclable aluminum so you can either reuse the bottle or take it to a recycling facility that accepts aluminum. This cleaner is Certified USDA Organic by Oregon Tilth, Cruelty-Free by Leaping Bunny, and is super-effective for cleaning your floors. Simply spray, mop and it leaves your floors clean and safe for the entire family. Shake before use, then spray it directly on an area to be cleaned, mop it up, and allow it to air dry. The ingredient list is pretty short and includes distilled water, organic ecetic acid, organic alcohol, a proprietary blend of organic essential oils and organic botanical extracts. This cleaner has been really nice to use because it really does smell so great. You don’t want to use this cleaner on wood or laminate flooring though, and since most of the floors in my house are wood, there are just a few rooms for me to use it in.  The spray & mop floor cleaner retails for $7.99.

The Eco Nuts organic surface cleaner is lime citrus which also smells great and just like the floor cleaner, it’s certified organic and super-effective. The aluminum bottle is 16 fluid ounces just like their other bottles, you can reuse it or recycle it! You’ll want to shake this one thoroughly as well before using it, spray as needed on hard, non-porous surfaces in your kitchen, bathroom and other areas in your home. All you have to do is wipe clean with a cloth. The ingredients are as follows: mukorossi extract, organic acetic acid and a proprietary blend of organic essential oils. No phosphates, sulfates, ammonia or alcohol. The organic surface cleaner has been great for so many different things in the kitchen & bathroom, and I like that it cleans well without having the chemical smell that typical cleaners have. Instead, you get that nice lime citrus smell while still having your counters clean! The bottle retails for $7.99.

EcoNuts Organic Cleaners Review

Just like the other cleaners, the Eco Nuts Organic Class Cleaner is packaged in an aluminum, recyclable 16-fluid ounce bottle, which retails for $7.99. It is also certified organic and super-effective for cleaning all your glass surfaces. This cleaner is a lemon citrus scented cleaner made with essential oils with botanical extract to eliminate dirt and dust. This cleaner will leave your glass safe and squeaky-clean while smelling just like lemonade. No chemical smells like typical glass cleaners. Just shake the bottle thoroughly before using, spray as needed on windows, glass, and mirrors. Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth. The ingredients in this cleaner are distilled water, organic acetic acid, organic alcohol, proprietary blend of organic essential oils and organic botanical extracts. This one was probably one of my favorite cleaners, though it’s really hard to pick. But it really does smell exactly like lemonade (but don’t drink it!) which is always a great smell to have around the house. I use this on all kinds of things. We recently moved into our new house and I had picture frames that had been stored away. They had so much dust all over them and this cleaner worked well to clean them up and leave them smelling nice. I typically use a glass cleaner from the store which always leaves such a chemical smell in the bathroom for a long period of time. With the organic glass cleaner from Eco Nuts, you don’t get that chemical smell.

Just like other cleaners, you’ll want to keep these out of reach of your children. In case of eye contact, flush well with water. In case of ingestion, drink a glass of water and contact a physician if necessary.

Now that it’s been awhile since you’ve starting using the re-usable towels, how have they held up? How many times have you been able to put them in the washer?
