Moraki Cloth is new to me, but I am glad I was introduced to them! They are one-size diapers that can be used as an AI2 or pocket diaper, and are made in the USA by WAHMs.

Diapers are estimated to fit 7-40 pounds and are entirely USA made.

The diapers have snap closures (with a hip snap) and offer newborn, small, medium and large size settings via a snap down rise.

The super-soft inner has an envelope style pocket opening, which allows inserts to agitate out in the wash. If you prefer, you can use the diaper as a cover for an all-in-two system. There is a PUL flap in front to hold the insert in place.

Inserts are available in small, medium or one-size, and are 55% hemp. They develop a soft, sherpa-like appearance after a few washes.

I used the diaper as a pocket on the medium setting on my 17 pound 1-year old.

The diaper fit wonderfully and it is beautifully made. The one-size hemp insert was absorbent enough to serve as the first-of-the-morning diaper, and it has been added to the list of diapers I’d grab for going out/naps etc.

Diapers sell for $27 and inserts are sold separately for $6-7. You can save by purchasing a cover with one-size insert for $31. Though somewhat pricey, you can dramatically reduce the cost per diaper change by using this as an all-in-two system.

Mention that you heard about Moraki Cloth here, and you will receive a free insert with the purchase of a diaper!

You can find Moraki Cloth on Facebook and Twitter.

Giveaway: One of my readers will receive a Moraki Cloth diaper & insert (ARV $34.) Entries go in the Rafflecopter form below.

I found Moraki through the May 2013 Great Cloth Diaper Hunt. I liked what I saw of their product on their site, but came here to see what you thought about it, since I really value your opinion. So I’m curious…is this diaper still in your rotation…or I guess, your “going out/naps” pile?

Hi Kathleen. I donate the majority of the diapers I receive for review. That doesn’t mean I don’t like the diapers I receive, it is my way of helping other families since I have enough diapers! It is super absorbent and definitely a good choice for naps & going out!

That is adorable! This diaper has a lot of the features that I love! I love two rows of snaps and the pul at the front of the diaper to help prevent leaks on boys. I’ve never heard of these, but this looks like a great diaper!

I saw that print somewhere before and thought the elephants were so cute and liked that the colors made it Christmasy but it is also cute for year round.
