I received a swim diaper at no cost for review purposes. I was not otherwise compensated for this post, and all opinions are my own. Konfidence is based in Cornwall, England, with offices in the US in Maple Plain, MN. The company is Europe’s Leading Designer of Premium Protective Swimwear for babies, infants and children. Founded in 1998 by father of 5 Andrew Regan, the products have won several awards. I received their one-size aqua nappy to review, and though it arrived a bit too late in the season for us to get in the water, I still have lots of photos for you.
This reusable swim diaper is designed to fit from 3 months to 30 months, and with a suggested retail price of $15.99, will save you some serious change over disposable swimmies.
The swim diaper has both Velcro and small snaps (poppers – I love British terminology!) to get just the right fit.
Is has both front and rear elastic, and is lined with a fine, silky mesh.
Simply by adjusting the closures, you can get the diaper as big or as small as you need it.
In these photos, my son is actually about 32 months – over their recommended age range, though he’s a petite 26 or so pounds.
Some pools require swim diapers whether or not the child is potty trained. My son has so much room in this, I know he’ll be able to wear it next summer too.
The Aqua Nappy is available in Pink Flowers, Pink, Red, Pink Polka Dot, Blue, Navy Polka Dot, Strawberry and Clownfish prints.
