I’m excited to announce that I am hosting the Great Cloth Diaper Change 2015 for Shepherdstown, WV with my co-host GEN-Y diapers. I co-hosted 2013 & 2014 with Up On the Hill however since she will be caring for her preemie, she isn’t able to take on an official hosting role this year.
This year’s event will take place at the Shepherd University Wellness Center (164 University Dr) in the Arena. Parking is plentiful!
We are accepting items for the goodie bags and raffle (these are more door prizes than a raffle as participants receive a ticket for pre-registering and a ticket for attending, but may not purchase entries), as well as vendors for the event. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing table space.
The change itself is at 11 AM but we ask that you arrive no later than 10:30 to register. Doors will open to the public at 9 AM (vendor setup begins at 8 AM) and we will wrap things up by 1:00 (vendors must be packed up by 2).
We will be accepting donations of useable cloth diapers, which will be sent to Giving Diapers Giving Hope at our expense. This event is free though you may choose to make a donation if you like. All funds collected via donations & vendor fees will be put towards the cost of the event. Any amount beyond that will be donated to the Real Diaper Association to advocate for cloth diapers. We will donate a minimum of $1 per participant regardless of the event cost or funds collected. (In prior years we covered expenses out of pocket and made the donation out of pocket.)
Please select one ticket per adult/baby pair. As a reminder: adults must be 18 years old or older and paired with a child under 39″ for the change. Only the adult/baby pair is permitted in the changing area. Friends, family and other children must wait outside per Guinness requirements. Hope to see you there!
