Andrea’s Beau is a Washington, D.C. based business that hand crafts beautiful hair accessories for women and girls, right here in the U.S.A. All materials used are CPSIA compliant, and whether your tastes are simple or extravagant, you are sure to find something you love.
I received the Gossamer headband in vintage black. This satin headband with an embroidered, embellished organza flower is available in 9 colors.
The headband is both incredibly beautiful, and impeccably well made. It is flexible enough that I don’t worry about accidentally breaking it, and there are no loose ends or evidence of glue anywhere. It was so comfortable I forgot I even had it on, whereas I typically end up with “headband headache” and/or pain behind my ears.
It fit my (almost) 8 year-old as well, and in fact, she has hijacked it. 🙂
One of my favorites is the Julianne Soft Headband, and I love the Andrea Pack (for women) and Polly Pack (for girls.) The cost per headband is similar to (or less than in many cases) mass produced versions, and you get to choose all 3 colors vs. buying a package with colors you don’t like. These are beautifully handcrafted in the U.S.A. and won’t come slopped with glue, only to unravel the next day (this happened with several $8-10 headbands I bought to match my daughter’s outfits!)
Andrea’s Beau also has beautiful hair clips and special occasion accessories, from headbands and bun rings, to tiaras, first communion veils and gloves. Andrea’s Beau will also consider custom projects, so if you can’t quite find the perfect head piece for your wedding, prom etc., get in touch with the company!
