I first saw this get in the boat gif
followed by this “always test in store” gif
and “don’t climb up there” gif.
I poked around the original posters & couldn’t find a common theme (aside from the child) but fortunately, some wonderful soul linked to Action Movie Kid YouTube channel.
also the making of:
Action Movie Dad says:
“My 4-year-old kid is awesome. He gets into some epic situations which remind me that life is an adventure. Now his sister’s getting into the action too. Buckle up. Subscribe and catch up on all his previous adventures here. I do these videos completely in Adobe After Effects plus a few third party plugins.”
According to Wikipedia, “Action Movie Kid is an action web series created by Daniel Hashimoto. It contains his son, James, as the main character. Each clip is a short home movie of James playing, when something dramatic happens: explosions, death-defying feats, and other crazy stunts. All of the dangerous effects and stunts are added in post-production by Daniel Hashimoto, who is a Dreamworks Animation vis-dev artist and freelancer. He uses Adobe After Effects to make the short videos for YouTube.”
There are dozens of videos on his channel and they really capture the magic of a child’s imagination. I highly recommend you check them out! Action movie Kid even has his own book! (Affiliate link)
