No, there is no #4! This post is talking about babies 1-3. I really, really fail at pregnancy announcements. There’s just something weird about it. “Hey, guess what we did 12 weeks ago.” (actually 10 but now’s not the time to talk about gestational age calculations & ovulation!) I see all these awesome announcement ideas on Pinterest and I’m like ehhh…at least I told you before I actually gave birth.
Post contains affiliate links. We all took health class, right? Making a baby is so easy you can do it by accident. Yeah…not so much. I used to think when I was ready to have babies, I’d have babies, but it wasn’t that easy! This post has been on my “to write” list for years and I’m finally writing it. Based on the subject, there will be a bit of “TMI,” there’s no getting around it, so you are forewarned!
As I mentioned in my post last week, I am great at gaining weight during pregnancy. Yes, I’m humble. It’s one of my many talents. 😉 So how did I lose it?
A month after my first child was born, I was in a heap of tears & clothing after discovering that my pre-pregnancy “fat” jeans wouldn’t even go over my thighs. I started out at a healthy weight, though I was carrying a bit more than I would have liked. I had gained 50 pounds (much of it water weight since I lost 30 pounds within a few weeks) and I was determined to do better with my next pregnancy. Little did I know that alas, I was not one to gain 20 pounds during pregnancy.
Once a week I post a reader’s question, answer it, and welcome comments/answers. Don’t miss any posts! Subscribe to our new RSS Feed or subscribe via email.
