RagaBabe Easy AIO Cloth Diaper Review
The RagaBabe Easy AIO/Medium/heart print was my “unicorn” diaper. I had been pining about that darn thing since the first time I laid eyes on it. My pictures are kinda terrible because I wouldn’t wait to put it on him, and I didn’t want to get all my stuff set up to take good photos, ha ha!

It wasn’t the price tag ($29.95 plus $3.95 shipping) that kept me from buying. They are really difficult to buy! Only certain types, prints and sizes are stocked, and it’s always in a very limited quantity. You have to be paying attention to catch a stocking, and items often sell out before you can click. If you have a specific item you want (like I did) it’s even harder. I’ve never actually gotten one from a stocking, but after you buy, there’s an additional step of filling out a spreadsheet or something like that. I would much rather pay more and wait, for a custom diaper. I did ask but the owner doesn’t do that.
If you like my Facebook page, you’ve already heard the story of how I came to own (two) of my unicorn diaper. I have been looking for one for months, and had a saved Ebay search. I had considered buying diapers that came up that weren’t quite what I wanted (different color, different style etc.) but couldn’t bring myself to pay $50 for a diaper that wasn’t quite what I wanted. When a Ragababe Medium Easy AIO/Heart Print, new in package came up on my saved search, my heart skipped a beat. I hemmed and hawed, finally bidding, justifying it with all the $ I’ve saved by cloth diapering 2 kids! I was outbid, but a cloth diaper angel sent me a message and made my day. She had snagged a few in the “seconds” stocking, including my unicorn diaper, which turned out to actually be 1st quality. She agreed to sell it to me for only her cost (around $37.) I agreed, but I didn’t tell my hubby quite yet. I honestly don’t think my husband would care if I paid $100 for a diaper, but saying the price out loud made me feel a little sick.
I was outbid on the Ebay diaper, and found out shortly after that the winning bidder was my husband!! I love that he was paying that much attention to know how much I loved that diaper, and to buy it for me. It meant way more to me than if he had spent a small fortune on some expensive jewelry, because of the thought behind it!
So, now I have two of these diapers, and part of me was hoping that I could tell you that it wasn’t as great as people said it was, only so that I don’t have to pine away for the tie dye, aqua, olive and black colors too, or sob when my son outgrows them. I’m a little sad to say….it really is as fabulous as everyone says it is.
The RagaBabe signature is the adorable star shaped hook & loop overlap with laundry tabs that actually work.
The diaper includes a pocket in the front, with a PUL flap to cover it and to stop leaks/wicking onto clothing. You can stuff the included organic cotton sherpa liner, or a doubler or insert (sold separately) inside the pocket (or lay it inside the diaper) for additional absorbency. The diaper has a stay-dry, suedecloth inner (way softer than other suedecloth in my opinion) and a sewn in, bamboo rayon soaker that is contoured for a trim fit.
The AIO comes in 4 sizes; Newborn or 6-15 lbs, Small or 9-20 lbs, Medium or 14-30 lbs and Large or 23-40 lbs. I bought the medium for my 16ish pound 9 month old. Here it is measured folded and stretched:
The diaper has a wide waistband and contoured leg gussets.
I think my son could probably fit in the size small, but I’ll never get my hands on one to find out, ha ha.
The best part though is the amazing fit an insane absorbency!
This diaper is crazy, even through unexpected naps and missed changes, unbelievable poops (WHY in the unicorn diaper as soon as I got it? WHY??) I want more, and I honestly don’t regret all the money we paid for them! What a memory, right?? Too bad I will probably never get my hands on another one!

Wow…. things have changed! Now there’s at least 20 diff diapers in stock on the website between stockings, and the facebook ragamarket is literally flooded with rags. it’s easy to have 50+ rags in your stash now!

How very sweet that your husband got your unicorn for you 🙂 FYI if your son is still fitting into a medium the next stocking is black medium AIO or black size 1 2 step 🙂 I got a large for my son and I think he could have worn the medium for sometime. My son as well has pooped in it every time I have put it on him:)

I’m so glad you love it. I love my Ragababes as well, although my son poops in them every. single. time.
Seriously, he only poops once a day and I think he saves it for the Rags!
We LOVE our Rags and I seriously looooove that your husband was bidding and bought a diaper for you! That is seriously adorable; I’d take a diaper over flowers and candy any day! LOL! Who have we become?! 😛
I love this story! And I’m dying to try the Ragababe Easy AIO. I’m thinking of selling some diapers that haven’t worked for us/my baby has outgrown. If I can earn back some money then maybe I’ll spend it on one!
Cute!! I LOVE that print, but the biggest reason I haven’t bought one of her diapers is because of the stocking. They sell out SO QUICKLY. If we have more children, I might buy one or two, especially since our second child will get a lot of hand me down diapers from my daughter.
I can’t wrap my head around spending that much for a diaper, but that is so darn sweet that he listened/remembered and bid on it for you!
Me neither, but then again, I have spent very, very little cloth diapering 2 kids with the same cloth diapers…I could have spent $50 on sposies in the blink of an eye!
No judgment from me – I am sure plenty of people can’t imagine spending $ on fabric or sewing 🙂
