I’ve been cloth diapering for nearly 3 1/2 years, and this GEN-Y GO Bag is the first GEN-Y product I’ve used, can you believe it? GEN-Y is a family run business that makes cloth diaper covers & accessories in the U.S.A.
I stopped carrying a diaper bag when I had my second child. Instead, I carry a sort of large-ish purse with a few extras (like hand wipes & tissues) and I leave a wet/dry bag with wipes in the car. If I know I’m going to need the diapers (visiting someone, doctor’s appt etc.) I bring it in with me. No biggie, but it does get to be a bit much when I am carrying a kid or two, purse, paperwork, coats etc. Apparently mom is the family mule? LOL. The GO bag is perfect for me. Especially since the dry area is gusseted, to fit more without taking from the wet space.
The dry area has snap closures (rather than a zipper) which makes it even easier to cram it full. It has elastic at the top so you can stuff it even more and keep it all inside.
I fit 8 diapers with absolutely no problem, and there was loads of room left (these 8 diapers are pictured in the 1st photo, with the bag snapped closed.) The pocket is lined for durability, so you don’t have to worry about overstuffing and ruining it.
The wet area zips closed, and has waterproof laminate sandwiched between fabric (so you can use this for food too.)
One of my favorite features of the GO bag is that it has both a snap closed loop and an adjustable strap with buckle.
You can loop it over a stroller handle, sling it over your shoulder…even attach your keys to the loop.
The huge space and shoulder strap means I could really use this all by itself. There’s plenty of space for a half-day’s worth of diapers, wipes, plus wallet and other necessities. GO Bags retail for $24.99 each; all prints are limited edition, so don’t wait to grab yours!
