Here are some carried by Kelly’s Closet you definitely want to check out, along with why I think they are awesome. Take a look, then enter to win a $100 Kelly’s Closet gift certificate to buy some!
Blueberry – Formerly also known as Swaddlebees, this brand has a huge variety of products. Looking for natural fibers, stay dry, wipes, wet bags, covers, pockets or even training pants and flats? You’ll find it from Blueberry. They have some adorable prints, and their newborn diaper fits tiny babies very well.
Geffen Baby – In the interest of full disclosure, I do work with Geffen Baby, but they are one of my favorite brands. These hemp products are made in the USA from start to finish. Everything from weaving the fabric to cutting and sewing is done in the United States. The knitted fabric is both super soft and absorbent, and I find their hemp jersey prefolds to be an incredible night time solution. Though their products are USA made, they’re also very competitively priced, with their wipes at just under $1 each.
Thirsties – Though the Thirsties duo pocket has been discontinued (the size 1 was one of my favorite newborn diapers), the duo line is still available in the AIO, fitted and wrap styles. The fact that the line truly fits from newborn to potty in just one size, and the excellent absorbency of the hemp & microfiber inserts are why I loved them, but I found that I love the new one-size pocket just as much! Between the improved hook & loop, the inserts and the double gussets, they provide an incredible value for a USA made diaper under $20. They have a complete line including wipes, wipes solution, diaper cream, pail liners, wet bags and more.
Kissaluvs – Kissaluvs has some great products in their lineup, including a tiny newborn diaper and some of my favorite training pants. Did you know they even have a two step diaper system? You may not hear about these guys as much as you used to, but don’t forget about them!
Honorable mention Bummis – OK so Bummis aren’t actually made in the USA. Don’t worry, I don’t have my geography confused. Bummis deserves a mention here because they are made in North America (Canada) and their materials are sourced from both Canada and the USA. I adore their Potty Pant trainers, and they seem to always have something new in the works. They carry swim diapers with adorable matching tankini tops, rash guards and sun hats available, plus cloth diapers & accessories, including an extensive line of diaper covers.
While I also love many brand that are overseas, I’m giving an extra thumbs up to these brands for providing a great value while still keeping their manufacturing in North America! Again, this is not an inclusive list. This is simply a list of 5 brands carried by Kelly’s Closet and why I like them. See all Made in USA items about which I’ve blogged.
Giveaway: Kelly’s Closet is giving one winner a $100 gift certificate. Entries go in the Rafflectopter form below. Winner will be announced on the Diapershops blog.
Whats up this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from
someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
While I don’t always by USA brands I do like to support USA companies!

The post made me mindful of buying more American-made products.
Most of my stash are home made diapers, it would be nice to purchase or win a few American made not by me!
The recommendations are super helpful – we’re in the process of certifying to foster-adopt, so I’m trying to do all my research and prep now before we get the little ones!

It is always great to know where your stuff is coming from and finding new places to get natural and good stuff in the usa is a great thing 🙂 it definitely helps me.
I would like to try the Breathe
Respiratory Blend.
Oops! Wrong post. I meant to write I like Geffen Bay for its choice of hemp. Wonderful fiber.
I have been looking into trying out Thirsties and Geffen. I think this will be the push for me to finaly buy them. 🙂
I have been researching cloth diapers only for a bit but I love that all of the brands you listed and made in the USA. That is so very important to me!

It’s always good to be mindful of where things are made! I like that when you buy North America made you know that the items are made under good working conditions.
I really love supporting WAHM and US made brands! This is an awesome post!
Great information! We’re planning to cloth diaper and I’m really hoping to go with brands made in the USA.
I had no idea these brands were made in the US.
I prefer using branss made in usa. We need to keep people here working.
I really like the quick summary of great brands.
Love supporting US companies, so this was definitely helpful in choosing my the cloth diaper I want to try.
I loved reading about the made in the USA brands. I was referred to another brand when I first started with cloth and was later disappointed to learn that they were partially made in the USA, and two other countries. Love this info and I will refer it to other Mamas too! I have 2 babies in cloth diapers and I love to support businesses in the USA!
There are so many brands out there, it can be hard to keep straight which ones are made in the USA. Thank you for this list to simplify it!
I was gifted a Geffen baby wipe and it is my favorite in my stash! I was just considering looking in to purchasing more wipes and possibly other items by them (not like I need anymore – this CDing thing is addicting!) but this post definitely encourages me to consider it!
New to this !
I was very pleased to read that so many of the cloth diapers today are made from North American materials and also made here.
This was helpful because now i know who to support! Love buying items made in the USA
With my first, I could only afford china cheapies but now I’m trying to do better and buy USA. It really is better for everyone!
I love doing business with American companies! Thanks for the list.
The first thing I look at when buying products is where it’s made. Made in the USA is what I look for, so this post is a prefect little list.
Really cool list! I always like to buy made in America if I can.
I didn’t realize there wre competitively priced USA made brands.
I am still trying to figure out what kind of cloth diapers are going to work for us. This information is very helpful.

It’s always good to learn about products made in the USA.
When thinking of purchasing a product I like to read reviews on them first. No matter what it is I will read the reviews and consider purchasing it because of the review.
Thankyou for blogging about USA Made Diapers. It’s a shame that more Cloth Diaper companies don’t manufacture in the US.
This post was helpful because it pointed me in the direction of an already compiled “made in the USA” list of diapers! Thanks!!
I always love hearing about USA-made diapers. Blueberry is one of my favorites, too! I used Kissaluvs when my first was a newborn, but I didn’t know about their new AI2 system!
We love our Blueberry and Thirsties brand diapers!
Love this list but don’t forget Moraki!
This was just a list of a few brands Kelly’s Closet carries, and why I like them. It isn’t intended to be all inclusive!
Didn’t know thirsties made all those different products.
I love my blueberries
I didn’t know previously that swim diapers with matching tops are available.
I’d like some american made diapers in my stash
It is helpful to learn what diapers are actually made in the USA. I try to buy made in the USA whenever possible, and it is kind of tricky with cloth diapers. I have noticed a lot of stay at home moms selling “their” diapers that are really just China cheapies with a different label.
This post was helpful because I thought Bum Genius were made in the U.S. I had no idea it’s not… Blueberry are my second favorite. I think I’ll be choosing them over BG now.
Some Bumgenius products ARE now made in the USA. The move to USA facilities was done rather quietly and without fanfare, and you don’t know where your particular item is made until you receive it & look at the tag, there are products from many different factories on shelves out there. I didn’t intend for this post to be all inclusive, I just wanted to point out a handful of great USA made brands. Hope that helps!
Very fun to learn…I knew Thirsties was made in the USA, but didn’t know the others! Very cool.
I’m about to have a baby so any advice on cloth diapering is VERY helpful!

Great list. I’m not familiar with Geffen but the other four are great. Thanks for introducing me to a new brand.
I have begun a concerted effort to buy Made in the USA. I think if we ALL did, we would for sure make a difference. I learned that Kelly’s Closet also has other wonderful items!! And some toys and beauty items just for us women.
I love to buy products made in the USA, so I’m glad you had this post so I ca buy diapers that are made in the USA 🙂
I love bummis! I love their wipes. So great for the messes that babies make. And I’ve recently tried their covers and prefolds and have fallen in love. I would love to to try the other brands though. Especially Thirties and Geffen Baby. If I can buy local I will. Fwi, Applecheeks is Canadian too. Great brand. 😉

I didn’t know all of those products were made in America. Very cool!
Thank you so much for this list! I certainly prefer buying American made items when I have the option to, and this makes that much easier!
Loved reading about the USA made diapers!! With baby #2 in discussion, I can’t wait to get some newborn and tiny cloth diapers! Didn’t start cloth diapering my son until he was 4 months, and he’s a big guy! Lol Thanks for the recommendations and details about these USA made ones! 🙂
It’s great to know which diapers are made in the USA!

I’ve been looking to try out a few of these- thirsties and blueberry especially- this is a great push to do it!
This is helpful in identifying which diapers are made in the USA and are a good value!
Thank you for sharing about Geffen Baby! I am new to cloth diapers and have been looking for hemp products to try
Our family always chooses made in America when it is a possibility and sometimes it isn’t easy to find, this is extremely helpful for us to be aware of new brands we will surely try/love!
Useful information, it was nice to see what else these companies make besides diapers. I’ve tried most of them, but haven’t yet gotten around to trying Bummis.
I try to buy local best we can, so it’s always great to see American Made companies in our backyard we can support!
I love buying USA made and it is nice to have a good list of which diapers those are right here as a resource
We love our Blueberry diapers! And Thirsties, too. I’ll have to try the others-thanks for the heads up!

I didn’t know Kissaluvs were made in the USA. I loved their newborn fitteds with my gal.

I never paid attention to my diapers’ country of manufacture, but we mostly used gDiapers, they are slim and so easy to use.

I didn’t know Blueberry was a US company! That’s awesome. I’ve really been wanting to try them for a while. They’re my number one dream diaper stash brand <3
I didn’t know blueberry diaps were USA made! I love softbums and got started with them because they are made in the US. Love supporting our workers!
I didn’t realize all those are made in U.S.A. Really cool!

Thanks for this article, I love learning about US (and North American) made products, and have a top five list makes it easier to know what to look for!
Thanks for the article – love US made diapers! Thirsties are great diapers and we haven’t tried the others.
I love ordering products made in the US, especially after we had a scare with dog toys and treats made in China. I can only assume the same products could accidentally make it into the fibers of a diaper.
So for that reason as well as helping local economy’s I like to order US made when I can 🙂
I try to buy things USA made and this helped me to add more to my list.
Thank you! It is sometimes hard to find the information on what is actually MADE in the USA. I bookmarked this page for reference for my doula clients if they are curious.

This article was helpful because I didn’t realize Geffen Baby was an American made company. The one item I own if theirs (came in a mystery package) and I’m very impressed with the quality. I’ve loved Thirsties since the beginning. They have very good quality items at an affordable price.

I love bummis!
It is nice to know where diapers are designed, made, sourced, etc. Many times where all those things occur translates into quality of the product as well as customer service and warranty.
I’ve tried Blueberry diapers(put my first cover on my 10 day old yesterday!) And I’ve tried thirsties, and they are by far my favorite diapers!
Always great to buy American. Good info!

It let me know that these products are made in The US. And let me know of other products they make and sale, not just diapers.
Great post Maria! I always forget that blueberry is made in the US! Thanks for making it easy to choose American made cloth! 🙂
Too bad some of my favorites aren’t on the list! My favorite USA made is Green Beans Diapers, a WAHM on Etsy. She’s local to me and volunteers her time fixing up old diapers to donate to families who are interested in cloth but maybe can’t afford the startup costs. And the diapers are super cute.
There are TONS of great USA & Canadian made diapers. I couldn’t even begin to list all of the WAHM brands. Since this post is part of the Kelly’s Closet blog hop, I chose 5 brands they sell. You can see all the USA made products I’ve blogged about here: https://change-diapers.com/category/made-in-the-usa/
I love to try to bug ‘local’ and American made products! The only one of these brands I’ve tried is bummis.. Guess I better get busy.
I tend to buy USA made only diapers and love to learn about other USA dipes!
I didn’t know all of these brands were made in the US! I will have to make a point to try some 🙂

I’m new to CD and I’m looking forward to learning more!
