Link up to my cloth diaper blog hop! Every month, I’ll post a new topic; write your post, link it up and read other bloggers’ posts!
What is the craziest thing you’ve heard anyone say about cloth diapers?
For example: Although not said directly to me, I’ve heard people say that cloth diapers are worse for the environment than disposables, due to the water needed for washing. Um…so I guess they wear disposable clothing too, huh? 😉 Tell me the wackiest things people have said about cloth, and if said to you, how did you respond?
Link your post up below, and visit the other blogs. Leave comments where appropriate and follow if you like. I am requiring that you comment on at least 1 other blog post in order to link yours. I’d appreciate it if you’d leave me a quick comment when you link up, telling me on which blog you commented. I’d love some tweets/shares too, but it’s not required!
Hello colleagues, nice article and good urging commented at
this place, I am actually enjoying by these.
That they are disgusting! People don’t realise you are meant to flush solid matter even in disposables. Makes me cranky that so many are so irresponsible!

I’ve heard that it is bad for the babies and that it increases there chances of infections, and that there is nothing moms can do to avoid yeast infections when using cloth diapers! Crazy what people completely believe!
On a cloth diaper board I once saw a post asking what people thought of a link. When I clicked on it it was a blog post where the person basically made a case saying that if you didn’t use disposables you were being irresponsible because when we run out of oil we are going to need all those non-decomposed diapers to turn back into the oil that made them. I kid you not, this was their arguement…and the woman who posted it was actually thinking it made sense! When I went into a lengthy explination of EROEI (enery returned on energy imvested) she saw how silly the post she found was.
Oh my goodness…that is so mind boggling-ly ridiculous I had to read your comment twice!
CRAZY!!
I know, right?!?! The other one I find crazy is people who say it will delay the child’s walking. Well, if that’s the case then my boys didn’t get that memo! My older walked at 7 1/2 months, and my little guy just started walking a couple weeks ago at 9 1/2 months. Both full time cloth babies.
My first was 100% disposable diapered and walked at 16 ish months. My second was CD’ed from 4 mos and walked at the same rate. My 3rd was CDed from birth and walked at a year!!
