The cloth diaper industry innovates. We’re fueled by a passion, not solely money. Even the “big” businesses in the cloth industry are small in comparison to “big” businesses in other industries, and most are still family run. Even the “biggest” have founders actively involved in the day to day business operations and when you buy from them, you’re paying for dance lessons for their daughter, not a second vacation home for the CEO (as the often shared small business meme goes). Like other small baby-related businesses, many brands and shops were founded when the family identified a problem and set out to solve it. I think the cloth diaper industry is pretty darn great.
Change-Diapers was compensated to host this giveaway. All opinions are our own. In September I was able to see the Thirsties Newborn AIO at their ABC booth and I was a little bummed that I won’t have a baby to use them on!
Cloth Diaper Giveaways
Every week, I hunt for cloth diaper giveaways so you don’t have to. Subscribe to our RSS Feed or subscribe via email.
Cloth diapers are a cost-effective, environmentally friendly way to keep your baby dry, but they can also do a lot more.
Cleaning – My mother-in-law still has Curity prefolds she used on her boys and they make the best rags. From dusting to wiping spills to using as swiffer pads (microfiber works great for this too!) they will serve you well long after your diapering days are over.
Today Amii would have been just about ready to enter her third trimester and the baby should have been hearing muffled laughter in the womb as brother & sister gave their name suggestions, not hearing beeping of NICU machinery. She should have been holding up onesies marveling that the older kids were ever that tiny, not keeping watch over an isolette. Rubbing her belly and wondering who he’d look like, not wondering if he would survive.
