Cloth Diaper Advice – Mailbox Mondays 4/1/13 – Toddlers and “No”

Mailbox Mondays via @Chgdiapers - Toddlers and NO

Once a week, I publish a reader question, so we can all help. Don’t miss any posts! Subscribe to our new RSS Feed or subscribe via email.

Questions don’t have to be cloth diaper related, just email maria at change-diapers.com with “Mailbox Mondays” in the subject, or fill out my contact form for readers, which you will always be able to find on my Contact Page.

When and how did your toddler truly learn the meaning of the word “no”?

Hmm…great question. All 3 of my kids seemed to understand “no” combined with related body language, well before they were verbal. Although my 15-month old doesn’t say much, he will point & squeal, and shake his head no when we don’t get it right. There are a lot of thoughts/theories on what you should do or say rather than “no” to your toddler, but I won’t get into that; I just wanted to mention it. 😉

When did your toddler learn about “no?”
