Is a Knockoff Roomba / Robot Vacuum Worth It?

I purchased this myself. Post contains affiliate links which means if you click and make a purchase, I receive a small commission, thank you! I loved my Roomba, even if it wouldn’t fit under the couch. Although it didn’t completely replace vacuuming, it was nice to keep up with dog hair, crumbs, and the like. After many years of new brushes, new batteries and other parts, Roomba finally bit the big one and I gave up on it.

As much as I would have loved one of the fancy new Roombas with an app and smart mapping and the self-emptying feature, I just couldn’t afford one. I started reading reviews of off brand Robot vacuums and ended up settling on the Coready. I paid $149.99 for it. As of today it’s $168.97 with a $30 coupon available, for the final price of $138.97. It’s really slim and comes with extra brushes, a remote, cleaning tools, and the charging dock. It can be a little stupid like its richer cousin Roomba, getting stuck on and under things, but it does a great job picking things up and the battery seems to last quite a while before it needs to be charged.

I have zero complaints and would definitely buy another one. P.S. If you’re looking for a traditional vacuum, I love my Shark!
