My kids were testing out ring tones and one was called “Fast Car.” They say “oh I know this song” and my ears perked up because, well… Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” obviously.
To quickly find the song on my phone I searched and imagine my shock and horror to find the “new” version. Nope, nope, nope. Nothing will ever compare to the original.
Yeah, I’m old. Now get off my lawn! *shakes fist*

Maria wants to live in a world where cloth diapers are the norm and moms can make parenting choices without judgement. When she’s not chasing her 18, 14 and 11-year old kids around, you might find her checking out the latest gadgets, organizing something (again) or exercising in the fresh air.

Never good when an email titled “you know you’re old when…” pops up in your emails on your birthday! LOL!! That’s what happened to me today. I feel old for sure. For example, remember when we were kids and they didn’t even have blue M&Ms?! Hahaha
Happy Birthday! I wrote this yesterday on my 35th…err…”7th annual 29th” birthday so I feel you! I remember the light brown M&Ms and the voting to decide the replacement!
Our birthdays are so close!! Happy (belated) birthday to you too!!
