I received a set of snack bags at no cost for review purposes. I was not otherwise compensated for this post and all opinions are my own. I’ve been packing waste-free lunches for 7 years and have used a few brands of reusable bags and containers. It’s been just about two years since I first reviewed Yummi Pouch reusable snack bags and they’re still my favorite.
After my 2014 review I immediately bought a whole stash for both of my children’s lunches. Below is my “stash” less 5 or 6 that are in the wash.
The bags have held up fantastically and haven’t ripped, faded, melted or gotten dingy like some other brands.
The zipper closure bags are water resistant nylon that is BPA-free, phthalate-free, PVC-free, and lead-free. Snack bags measure 4×7″ and sandwich bags are 7×7″. I toss them in with my regular laundry after each use.
In addition to the “flashy” print set I received, they also have a new “fab” set and a “sweet” set including a new swirl print. The “spunky” set includes prints you can see in my “stash” above. I’m happy to see the new prints since that was my one complaint – lack of print variety!
A 3-pack of snack bags retails for $12.99 and a 3-pack of sandwich bags $14.99 giving them a much better cost per use than plastic bags. You can find them at Revelae.
