Need Clothes? Want a Good Deal? Shop ThredUp (Plus Coupon!)

Post contains affiliate links. I was given a $20 credit to shop. All opinions are my own. Have you heard of ThredUp? I was psyched to find them after my favorite secondhand shop closed and I think you’ll love them too. One of the things I love most is the ability to sort by brand. I have a few brands that fit me well (and I know what size I wear) so my first time shopping with them I chose just those brands.

I spent $66.55 taking advantage of a discount they had at the time and made out like a bandit. You’ll notice that a few of the items were “final sale” due to flaws they had. ThredUp knows that sometimes people prefer a screaming deal and don’t care if there’s a tiny flaw (I didn’t notice any on these items) but they always clearly note what flaws an item has, if any. If an item isn’t final sale, you can return for a small fee! After I received my first order, I signed up as an affiliate. You can also refer your friends and they’ll receive $20 to spend and you get $20 too, which is an awesome deal.

Orders are packaged really nicely – larger orders like my first are in a box.

With the $20 credit ThredUp sent me as an affiliate (and a $20 referral credit I had) I bought a shirt for myself, a Tea Collection shirt we’d had in a smaller size for my son, and a dress. Both my husband and my sons complimented me on my new shirt and as it turns out, the dress looks great on my daughter!

Have you ever searched for a really specific item and couldn’t find it? (Ex: my son had “brown day” at school and apparently brown isn’t in this season because I found zilch at the stores.) ThredUp’s inventory is incredibly vast but you can narrow it down by size, style, brand and more to find just what you need. They have designer selections, hand bags, accessories and even maternity sections.

You can also order a bag to send your gently used stuff off and earn money for things taking up space in your closet. Choose your local school and 5% of your purchases will be donated to that school. You can also elect to have 100% of the proceeds from your clean out bag donated!

Whether you have things to clean out or need something for yourself, shop ThredUp and save!

I was really disappointed with the baby clothes I received. I did not choose final sale items and almost everything I received had flaws. One dress had a bunch of chiffon roses and they were torn, one dress was grimy and did not come very clean. Another dress had a stain down the arm. The other pieces I ordered were fine, but I have not ordered from them again since. I left a terrible review on the specific items I had problems with and good reviews for the items that met my satisfaction. I never heard another word from the company other than the regular company emails.

Wow that’s awful. 🙁 The shirt I bought for my son was a tiny bit faded but would never have noticed if I didn’t own one brand new as well.

Did you send a email to ThredUp or just leave the reviews?
