Video Demo of GroVia’s new O.N.E. Diaper – #ABCKids14
There are so many amazing things at ABC that I think it will take me until next year to edit all these photos and tell you about everything! I couldn’t wait to show you GroVia‘s new diaper and Kim Ormsby herself demonstrated it for me.
It was very loud at the booth of course – I apologize for the background noise! (And my wobbling.)
The O.N.E. should fit 10-35 pounds, and has two inserts that can be snapped together or used separately. Inserts are microfiber topped with microfleece, and are channeled to keep moisture locked in the middle. There’s also a layer of absorbency through the body of the diaper, that doesn’t extend all the way to the legs (to avoid wicking.)
The super unique feature is the Outlast closure system. The diaper comes with snaps and a snap on hook & loop strip/tabs. You can switch back & forth as it suits your needs, or even swap out the H&L without sewing if needed.
My only complaint is that this didn’t exist 5 years ago. 😉 This is a really unique project because it will be a Kickstarter campaign, likely in October (stay tuned.) The price point is expected to be around $20 (with refresher kits around $5), which is pretty amazing in my opinion. GroVia hasn’t decided yet if they will offer a natural fiber soaker option. Kickstarter backers will have the opportunity to get lots of fun goodies, including a O.N.E. diaper.
Oh yeah, there’s other new stuff too. 🙂 GroVia also introduced their “no prep” soaker, which is microfiber topped with microfleece.
annndddd…
New colors, lotus & topaz! I love the fun graphics they used for these releases!
What do you think?

This sounds pretty awesome. I think they should offer a hemp option for the smaller insert. You know, for those of use who have heavy wetters. Their new colors are gorgeous! omigosh I want all the new prints and colors I’ve seen coming out of ABC!
I did this to a bunch of my diapers! My little guy was wriggling so much that it made trying to do snaps up virtually impossible. So I made hook and loop strips and tabs with snaps on them and voila, instant hook and loop diapers! I definitely want to try one of these!
LOVE <3
Oh I want one!!!
