I’m going to be honest. My hair “style” is either a braid or a ponytail at home, and I might un-do it and put a barrette in when we go somewhere. Maybe. I am very guilty of the “mom ponytail.” I have rather long hair, and it’s not by choice, it’s because my hair grows quickly, and I can’t manage to get a haircut more often that once a year, or every-other year. When I first received the Hair Styx, I was overwhelmed by the instructions. I quickly watched the videos (without sound, so I didn’t have over-the-shoulder-watchers), then gave them a try!
I was hooked right away. They were so easy to use, and the more I practiced, the better I got.
Here, I also didn’t follow the basic instructions of inserting 1 hair stick at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock (tip facing ceiling) then reversing, dragging along scalp and securing. Pictures were also self-phone-portraits. Still, it looked nice I think! I had far more success when I followed the instructions!
