Cloth Diaper Survey
Have you ever wondered about other cloth diapering families? What do they use? How much did they spend? Why do they do it? That’s why I’ve created this cloth diaper survey!
For years I’ve wondered a lot of this and I’ve been unable to find data anywhere. Will you help? The one question I put that we use disposables occasionally but that’s only to use up the package that we bought because I forgot how to diaper with a cord stump present:(, and we haven’t got the all-in-ones for the hubby yet. I enjoy the good old flats that you have to fold yourself and use pins or snappy’s and covers,etc.

My best cloth diaper accessory is my clear diaper dawgs sprayer and finger guards! I use those every day.

Answered as best I could, just started CD with 2 under 2 and very slowly building up my stash. I want to be able to fully CD both my girls in the next couple of months and do away with disposables for good!
I wasn’t sure what to answer on one of the questions because none of the answers were relevant to us. We were forced into using cloth diapers out of necessity. Our first child got horrid chemical burns from disposables and I went out that day and bought what I could get my hands on…. with my baby wrapped up in a T-shirt for a makeshift diaper!
I used cloth diapers many years ago– (20 + years) and I would still use them today. I was a stay-at-home mom with 3 under 2 and the costs alone were tremendous! I had no problems using the cloth — they were convenient and easy to use. I did use a service which was absolutely the way to go! ( my husband did the changing for a week and stopped counting at 200!
Wow, 3 under 2! That’s a lot of diapers! What do you think of today’s cloth diapers? 🙂
I answered these questions for our current situation, but that changed six months ago. We started cloth diapering when we rented an apartment with shared laundry facilities and then bought our own place with our own washer and drier. Both ways are doable, but I know which I prefer!

I no longer cloth diaper (no children need diapers), but If I can answer as I would at the end of my cloth diapering time, I will fill it out! (Or will you be posting another one that would be past tense or offer options that are for when you did cloth diaper?)
Please do fill it out! The only responses I wouldn’t want would be people who last use cloth 20+ years ago so the answers would no longer be relevant. 🙂
