The Cossettie Changing Mat is a compact and lightweight changing mat that easily fits into diaper bags or even your purse. The changing mat provides plenty of coverage to make sure while you’re changing your little one, they are laying on a clean surface. The mat is large enough that it covers public restroom changing tables and is great for changing diapers in the car, on the ground, on the floor or anywhere else you would need to change your little one. The mat is attached to a bag which allows you to fold and store it without it taking up much room in your diaper bag. With the bag being attached to the changing mat, you’ll never have to worry about losing the bag. It also makes it extremely easy to carry around.
This patent pending changing mat also has other uses. If you forgot to bring a blanket to lay out as a play mat, no worries. All you need to do is lay out your Cossettie mat and you have a clean place for your little one to play on. Another great feature of the bag is how it’s designed so that you can still use the safety belt of the changing table! The Cossettie mat is made of wipeable rip-stop nylon and is water resistant. This makes cleaning up so easy since all you have to do is wipe it off. It’s also machine washable if it gets really dirty and air dries pretty quickly.
The overall Dimensions are 42 inches long by 33 inches wide and the bag is 7 inches long by 5 inches wide. The size is incredibly helpful. Whenever we’re out with the boys and there’s a place that happens to not have a changing station, I end up changing the boys on the floor. (Yuck. I know.) Normally I would use the small changing pad that came with their diaper bag and throw a blanket down on top of that to be sure they didn’t touch the floor. While that worked fine, the blanket was no longer able to be used because it had been on the dirty bathroom floor! Using the Cossettie, I don’t have to worry about that because it’s large enough for not only my 5 month old to lay on, but also my 3 year old!
Clean up is now pretty simple. I always end up fighting with my diaper bag’s changing pad at the end because I’ve already stuffed everything back in, forgetting the changing pad is still under the baby. So it’s pretty convenient that the Cossettie has it’s own little bag that’s tiny enough to shove pretty much anywhere in the diaper bag.
