Tots Bots Tini Fit Newborn Diaper Review

I’ve been wanting to try the Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper for a while, and now that I have a reason to, I went ahead and grabbed the newborn version of the Easy Fit, the Tots Bots Tini Fit!

The Easy Fit and Tini Fit are made by Tots Bots in Scotland, and distributed by Bummis. (I checked out their Facebook page and really enjoyed all the “nappy” and “rubbish” and “holiday” talk, tee hee!)

The Easy Fit diaper is designed to fit babies from 8-35 pounds, and the Tini Fit is for little ones from 5-14 pounds.

The diaper has Velcro closures with good sized laundry tabs. The inner of the diaper is rayon from bamboo, with the outer edge side guards made of brushed polyester.

I wasn’t sure exactly what it was going to look like, since it’s so hard to tell from photos. In the first photo, I’ve pictured the diaper turned inside out, so you can see that it has a sewn in soaker like a “traditional” all-in one. However, instead of the entire soaker being sewn together, the rest sticks out like a tongue style soaker, that you tuck into the pocket.

You can also add an additional booster (included) to up the absorbency from 13.4 oz to 16.9 oz!

With the Tini Fit, you’re getting the ease of an AIO (stuffing the flap in is an additional step, but it’s very quick and easy) but the soaker will be easier to clean and dry than if it were all sewn in. You can also fold the soaker to place absorbency where you need it, and of course the pocket allows you to add a booster!

I have heard much about the problems that can develop with microfiber such as repelling and smell, and I was wondering if I should just be overly cautious and not buy any microfiber to avoid this altogether. Tiny Tush Elite 1.1 Pocket Diaper PRINTS Review/Giveaway (CLOSED 8/2) U.S./Canada

I reviewed the Tiny Tush pocket diaper several months ago and still love the diaper, so I was really excited to be involved in the launch of four new prints!

The 4 limited edition (once they’re gone, they’re gone!) prints join Star Spangled and 13 colors available in snap or Aplix closures. The prints are made in the U.S.A. just like the solids, and they will retail for $19.95, the same as solid colors.

I didn’t know what the prints were or what I was getting, but when I finally got to see all of them, my favorites were definitely robots and bubbles!

I got my package just as we were heading out and I was strong and didn’t rip right into it like I wanted to. I wanted you all to see how ~~I was tortured~~ it was packaged, LOL. No really, getting a surprise print in the mail is like the icing on the fluffy mail cake. Waiting is tough! I got a Tiny Tush pen too, which I love and am hiding so it doesn’t get “borrowed.”

I got the Camo print and when my husband saw it he said “does a bear poop in the woods? Now your baby can too!” Actually, he said “beaw,” which was a reference to the potty time Elmo DVD we were forced to watch repeatedly when our daughter was little. Neither of us was too sad when it became too scratched to watch anymore. YIPPEE! I promised that I would include his joke in my review. 😉 I am sure this print (I think hubby said it was mossy oak-ish or something like that) will be a hit with the hunter daddy/outdoors-man out there!

The other Tiny Tush I have is Aplix closure, and this one is snap. Very easy to use, nothing complex!

The diapers are designed to fit approximately 7-35 pounds. I have my 24ish lb 25 month old son in the medium/next-to-largest setting and he has plenty of room to grow.
