I receive free products from Guidance Guide for review purposes but my opinions are all my own. Babyganics was founded when Kevin, a father, wanted products that were both mindful of the planet and would help make their home a safe place for their children. Today Kevin and his friend Keith, fathers to 5 children between them, run the company. Using their own experiences, community feedback, and the latest scientific research, they continue to create safe, effective and sustainable products.
Using plant based (organic when practical) ingredients as well as carefully chosen synthetics or preservatives, Babyganics creates products you can feel good about using on your babies. Sustainable, recyclable and/or recycled packaging are used any time they can be.
Our list of “never use” ingredients come from sources such as EU, Canada and US lists of ingredients to avoid and refers to industry standards like NPA and EWG. We always ask “Is this something we’d confidently use around or on our babies?” If you see it on the shelf, the answer was “yes.”
I love that you can click “ingredients” on their website and see a complete list of ingredients, whether they are plant-based/natural/synthetic, the source of the ingredient and what it does.
Babyganics moisturizing daily lotion does not contain parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, petrolatum, artificial fragrances or dyes. The lightly but sweetly scented lotion moisturizes with natural plant-based ingredients like Shea Butter, Aloe, Vitamin E, and Olive and Avocado Oil and their 100% natural NeoNourish® Seed Oil Blend.
My 7-year old is slightly obsessed with hand sanitizer and Babyganics alcohol-free foaming hand sanitizer kills 99.9% of germs with plant based ingredients. No alcohol (my son has eczema so some sanitizers can sting his hands as well as dry them), triclosan, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or dyes. The moisturizing, foaming formula means one bottle goes a long way, and there are refills available.
The Babyganics shampoo + body wash has the same wonderful scent as the lotion, is mild, moisturizing, and foams instantly to make it easy to wash a squirmy child one handed!
Babyganics mineral-based sunscreen does not use PABA, phthalates, parabens, fragrances or nano-particles, soothing skin while protecting it. It’s not sunscreen weather here yet but I’m looking forward to using it this summer.
Babyganics fragrance-free face, hand and baby wipes are plant-based and available in multiple sizes to stash in a bag, or wherever you need them. They do not contain alcohol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, artificial dyes or fragrances so you can be sure they will be gentle on your child’s skin.
The Babyganics line also includes laundry and household cleaning products, fluoride-free toothpaste and much more. Many products are available in both fragrance-free and naturally scented version.
