There comes a time in many toddlers’ lives when a simple diaper change turns into a rousing game of “catch me if you can.” You reach for a wipe and next thing you know, you’re chasing a bare hiney across the house. The desire to feel the cool breeze on their tushie, combined with the satisfying “rrriiippp” of the diaper isn’t exclusive to cloth diapered toddlers. Disposable diaper users have been known to resort to duct tape, backwards zip footie jammies and other extreme measures. Fortunately, as a cloth diaper user, you have more options!
School of Cloth is an annual, month-long event with cloth diaper classes hosted by Real Diaper Circles, Real Diaper Association businesses, and cloth diapering veterans. If you attend a class, you can receive certificates and enter to win a cloth diapering package. If you win, you can receive a cloth diaper charity, like Giving Diapers Giving Hope, to receive a matching prize! Every week, I’ll cover a different topic, and invite you to link your blog posts as well. This week’s topic is traveling with cloth diapers.

I’ve often heard the term “daddy friendly” in reference to cloth diapers, and it always makes me chuckle a little bit because of my own husband. However, I realize that it could maybe seem insulting to men, or might imply that other diapers are “hard.”
