Ashley wonders:

What are the best daycare friendly diapers?

In my opinion, a pre-stuffed pocket diaper with hook & loop closures is really no different than a disposable, when it comes to the person changing the diaper. If the providers become more comfortable with cloth, consider showing them an all-in two system, which would make the diaper stash much more compact.

What diapers have you used for daycare?

We sent BGEs, which worked well. Eventually we switched to Grovia AI2s with snap shells. I would want to stuff all those pockets, so next time around I would probably buy a set of Nana’s Bottoms just for daycare.

We used GroVia AI2s. Ours were also supposed to be double bagged but the daycare was okay with putting them all into the same “doubled” bag. I put an XL ziplock bag into a medium PlanetWise wet/dry bag and that was adequate for them. I was able to fit all the inserts (8) and covers (3 extra) all into the front part of the bag and I just alternated between 2 ziplock bags: using one while the other was rinsed and air-dried. My daughter was the first one at her daycare to use cloth and they were pretty willing to give it a try.

Oh, I did use the Aplix covers to make it easier for them.

We used just that, BG 4.0 pre-stuffed pockets with aplix closure. We use a corporate center, so per regulations, each dirty diaper has to be placed in its own bag. So I bought about 6 small planet wise zippered wet bags, and then 2 large zippered wet bags. So each diaper goes in a small bag, then into the big bag. We only wash the bags if they are stinky/soiled. Otherwise they get aired out overnight, then back the next day. We happened to love this diaper so much (stuffing pockets is way better than spraying poo off an AIO or AI2), and use them with snaps at home too. Good luck!
