Giveaway Made in Canada Natural Household Products Review

Essentia Natural Memory Foam Pillow Review

comfort pillow

I received a product at no cost for review purposes. I was not otherwise compensated for this post, and all opinions are my own. Essentia makes natural memory foam mattresses, that are not made from petroleum based chemicals (like other memory foam) and are also breathable. Their products have been seen on Dr. Oz, Rachel Ray, and Anderson Cooper and are made in Canada. The company also offers natural memory foam pillows, including the comfort pillow I received.

My husband is the most particular pillow picker (say that 10x fast) ever. I mean, I love a great pillow too, but he drives me nuts when it is time to shop for new pillows. They are too firm, too soft, too hard, too squishy, not supportive enough etc etc. We’ve tried feather pillows, poly pillows, 2 pillows and most recently, a pillow with memory foam in the middle and poly fill around it. They were pricey but it was worth it thinking they would last. Alas after a year or so, my husband tossed it aside in favor of one of our old pillows because it had flattened and was now hurting his neck.

The Essentia Comfort pillow is breathable and hypoallergenic, measuring 17x27x4″ (fits in a standard case.)

The pillow is made in Canada and is natural latex memory foam with an organic fabric cover.

What makes this pillow unique and awesome is that it is made of shredded memory foam (think bean bag chairs,) which gives it great support without the icky quicksand feeling other memory foam has.

It’s very hard to describe (or photograph) so I’ll just say that this pillow is awesome, and I regret letting my husband have it. He loves it and says he’d definitely buy one. He cringed a little bit at the price tag ($129), but decided it was worth it to alleviate his neck pain, and not have to hunt for a new pillow in 3 months. It would make a great holiday gift!
