Naturalmat Organic Mattress Protector Review

I received a product at no cost for review purposes. I was not otherwise compensated for this post, and all opinions are my own. Naturalmat was founded in 2000 when the owners Mark Tremlett & Peter Tindall, both sailors, created a natural fiber alternative to the synthetic mattresses found on boats. When Mark was expecting his first child, they set out to create the perfect natural mattress for babies & children.

Their handmade crib & children’s mattresses are made with high quality natural fibers, and each comes with an organic mattress protector. The protectors (like the one I received) are also available to purchase separately.

The organic crib mattress protector is made of two layers of organic flannelette and has a breathable waterproof membrane in between.

It shrinks a little bit after washing & drying (it is machine washable), with an advertised size of 52″ x 28″.

The unbleached, un-dyed and chemical free cotton is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, and doesn’t contain pesticides, insecticides or chemicals.

The mattress protector fits perfectly, and the elastic at each corner keeps it in place, but makes it easy to get onto the mattress. Want to learn more? Watch videos on Naturalmat’s website, or Naturalmat’s YouTube channel.
