How to verify someone likes your Facebook page
As we all know, as soon as you figure something out, Facebook changes it. However, as of now (2016) you can take the following steps to verify if someone likes your Facebook page.
Go to your page and click settings in the upper right, then “people and other pages” on the left. Make sure you have “people who like this page” selected from the drop down. Then you can scroll through your “likes” or search for a name. I find that typing a partial name works well but typing the entire name hangs up the search. (There are reports that different categories – i.e blogs vs. media – are not able to see the search bar.)
That’s it! You can also check the box next to a name, click the “gear” and make someone a page manager from this step.
I hope this is helpful, although I’m sure it won’t be long before Facebook changes how to verify someone likes your Facebook page!
Why does FB make some of this info so hard to find? Thanks for sharing this shortcut – I needed it. 🙂
I do see your comment! Sorry if you had any trouble!
This is such handy info for bloggers – thanks, Maria!
