New Contact Form, Affiliate Talk (and other stuff)

Now, I’ve added another way to contact me. Click the Contact Page Tab, which is at the top of the page, right under the header. Click the button, fill out the form, submit and your question/comment will be on its way to me!

I added another new page, an Affiliates Page. I’ve been kind of hesitant with the Affiliate stuff, but I did add some affiliate links for Diapers.com (use coupon code “gettenfree” to get $10 off your first $49 order), Kelly’s Closet (use code SUPERBOWL15 for 15% off your order-expires at midnight EST 2/6/11. 1 code per order, 1 use per customer.), Diaper Junction, Ergo Baby, Amazon.com, The Land of Nod, Pediped Footwear and Kushies Baby. I’ll have my eye out for another affiliate programs, but only for things I think you guys will be interested in, and that I can stand behind.

I don’t want to sound like I’m “begging;” that’s rather unbecoming, eh? If you’re making a purchase, I’d appreciate if you shopped through my links. I still don’t know how I feel about putting affiliate links within a post. I don’t want my readers to think I’m saying a product is great, just to try to get you to make a purchase through an affiliate link. I also want you to come here for great info, not a sales pitch.

I also added “places to vote for this blog” on the same affiliate page. I can’t say I 100% understand the stuff, but I added links to vote for us on Top Baby Blogs, vote for us on Top Mommy Blogs, vote for us on picket fence blogs and write a review on Alexa.com. If you have a quick second now and again, I’d appreciate a vote. I’d love for new people to find the blog!

Almost finished…I posted this on my Facebook page, but if you’re not a “fan” there, you missed it. We have over 1,000 RSS feed subscribers, and darn close to 1,000 Facebook “likers,” GFC followers and Twitter followers. When we hit 1,000 on all of them, I’ll be giving away a great prize package. If we get close but aren’t getting there, I’ll post some teasers of the prize package, but I don’t want to constantly yap about it, begging for new followers & annoying everyone. 🙂

Lastly! The new “look” of the blog is temporary, while my graphic designer works on some new stuff, and I muster the courage to switch to WordPress. If anything looks funny, or it just plain hurts your eyes, let me know!

Weekly Friday Giveaway Roundup for February 4th, 2011

On Fridays, I gather up giveaways of cloth diapers and accessories, and list them all for you! Each post is also has a linky where you can enter any giveaway, as long as it’s family friendly.

I need your input: If you like the giveaway roundup, how would you like to see it organized? Right now I have new this week and giveaways that were on last week’s roundup. Giveaways that will end before next week’s post have the date in bold. When there are as many as there are this week, it’s hard to sift through them.

Would you like to see them separated by category/item or perhaps in date order? Should I still separate them by new/from last week, or just have them in date order?

Tiny Tush Elite Pocket Diaper Review & Giveaway (CLOSED 2/10)

I received a Tiny Tush Elite one-size pocket diaper to review.

The diaper is one-size via 4 snap down rise settings, and is estimated to fit 7-35 pounds.

The Elite Pocket Diaper is available in both snap and aplix closures; I chose aplix.

It has a rear, reverse envelope pocket opening, and included a full size and a small microfiber insert/doubler.

My son is around 21 pounds, and I put him in the medium setting. It seems to fit him a tiny bit larger than some other diapers, but still fit well and did not leak. He has quite a bit of room to grow in it.

The Tiny Tush Elite pocket diaper retails for $17.95.

It’s time to refresh the monthly cloth diaper blog, blog hop!

There are lots of blog hops out there, but this one is just for cloth diaper blogs! If you always or even sometimes post about cloth diapers, feel free to participate!

There aren’t any “rules.” You don’t have to blog about the hop or grab the button (though it would be nice of course!) You don’t have to follow anyone, or comment on anyone’s blog.
