Babykicks 3G Pocket Cloth Diaper Giveaway (CLOSED 10/18)
I reviewed my Babykicks Bumboo pocket diaper about 16 months ago, then compared the Bumboo pocket to the new 3G pocket about 7 months ago. I love the Babykicks Joey Bunz one size inserts, especially with the improved tapered end and sizing guidelines. Please view my full Babykicks 3G Pocket Diaper review for all the details and photos!
I also made a video demonstrating how to use the newborn snap. This is one of only a handful of one-size diapers that I think would really work on a newborn!
The 3G pocket is available in 4 great colors, plus the white with multicolored snaps. It’s a trim one-size pocket with a front pocket opening and side snaps, and the snap down rise allows it to fit babies from 7-40 pounds. The waterproof PUL outer has fleece gussets that allow air flow, but not leaks. The lining of the diaper is 30% Certified Organic Cotton and 70% Rayon made from Bamboo, a great choice if you prefer natural materials over microfleece or suedecloth.
The Babykicks 3G pocket diaper retails for $20.50 and is available at lots of online and “brick and mortar” retailers! Be sure to follow Babykicks on Twitter and “like” Babykicks on Facebook.
Giveaway: Babykicks is offering one of my readers a 3G pocket diaper in his/her choice of color (ARV $20.50.) Entries go in the Rafflecopter form.
FTC compliance: While Babykicks is providing a giveaway prize, I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own.
I have 2 of these (actually 1 Bumboo and 1 3G). I didn’t like them at first because the rise always came unsnapped when I was putting it on. I finally got the trick down thanks to this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxZxr85IjS8&feature=related) and I love how trim this diaper is. I would get more but I bought mine on sale and don’t want to spend $20 for another one.
I had the rise unsnapping problem with my Bumgenius when I first started, but I t was because I was used to pulling on the top of a disposable to get it snug. I don’t have that problem with my Babykicks! Maybe because I put it on differently? I don’t know!
I’ve been wanting to try these so bad!! I’ve heard mixed reviews about them but I think they seem awesome. Been trying to convince myself to spend the $ anyway for awhile. I would LOVE to when one! (Who wouldn’t though, right?)
I’d love to get my hands on a few of these CD for my newborn due in Dec. Great video. I wasn’t going to enter until I watched the video. Great dipe.

I have to say that I really LOVE that you only have one entry method! Thank you!
You’re welcome! I do it anytime I can! 🙂
I had one of these diapers that I got rid of because it would leak where the tag was in the back. I liked the diaper otherwise.
Hmm…I haven’t had that problem. Did you have the Bumboo pocket or the new 3G pocket?
As I was entering….the form said it messed up please try again …which I didn’t do but then i refreshed the page and I saw that I have three entries listed. Could you please delete two of them…I don’t want to be disqualified. Thanks!
I will delete them! No worries though, I don’t DQ people for accidents!
you mentioned that this is one of a few one-size diapers you think would fit a newborn – what are the others?
And thanks for the demo, it helps a lot
I also have the Babykicks Fitted, Little Beetle Fitted & Cover, Oh Katy & Softbums diapers tucked in with my newborn diapers. The Rumparooz also seem to run a bit smaller. I’m planning to try each of my o/s diapers on the baby to try to figure out when they fit. I am just guessing these are most likely to fit since they are similar in size to newborn diapers when on the smallest setting (a smidge bigger than some of the teeny newborn diapers though!)
Thanks for another great review and giveaway. This seems like a unique diaper with the fleece gussets.
The newborn setting is interesting….nice for those that don’t want to purchase or borrow newborn/x-small size diapers, but kind of complicated!
It seemed really complicated, but once I figured out what the heck was going on, it wasn’t too bad. Tuck it into the pocket, then pull the wing on your left over, fold it over to snap it to those newborn snaps on the right wing. I tell you though, I was really baffled at first, LOL! I didn’t do a very good job in the video. It took me forever & seemed more complicated than it was I think!
Thanks for the chance!
I’d love to try this on my newborn coming in a few weeks! 🙂
