Did you catch my gDiapers & gCloth review? I was also fortunate enough to receive small (and newborn, post forthcoming) gDiapers on loan so I could post about them as well!

Like other gPants, these secure in the rear with hook & loop closures. The super-soft gPants themselves are not waterproof, but have a snap-in pouch that holds the cloth or disposable insert.
The size small, guppy green gPants are estimated to fit 8-14 pounds, and retail for $17.99.
Each gPant includes a snap-in, waterproof pouch. You can swap out cloth or disposable inserts at each change, and pick up a 6-pack of pouches for $22.99 to swap out as needed. If the gPants become soiled, swap them out as well.
Here’s the size small gPant measured folded & stretched first without the pouch snapped in, then with. The gPants themselves are super stretchy, so the pouch limits the amount of stretch.
Both the gCloth and disposable inserts come in small (recommended for newborn and small gPants) and medium/large/XL (recommended for medium, large or XL gPants):
40 of the small disposable/biodegradable inserts, or 32 of the m/l/XL retail for $14.99 (as low as $13 each with free shipping, when purchased by the case.)
Wet inserts can compost in 50-150 days in a home compost (yes, you know me, tests to follow!) They are made of cellulose, fluff pulp and super absorber, and can also be flushed.
The disposable inserts need to be fully torn and swished before flushing. If you neglect to do this, I have it on good authority that it will lead to a very bad day for you & your plumbing. 😉 The option of biodegradable inserts makes this an ideal “gateway diaper” for parents not quite ready for washable diapers, and it’s a great option for travel and/or dealing with diaper rash.
