I have a business relationship with the manufacturer, and I received this product sample for free. Post contains affiliate links. Geffen Baby‘s line of absorbers (universal cloth diaper inserts) are available in 3 sizes (newborn, regular & plus) and 2 materials (hemp fleece or hemp jersey.) They are all 5 layers of 60% hemp/40% organic cotton, and are made in the U.S.A. I received their newest product, the newborn super absorber, to try.

I have, however, childproofed (that word is a minsomer, LOL) for 3 children in 4 houses, including a rental and temporary situation. I’ve tried loads of products as things have changed and new things have come on the market, and I have favorites!

I washed those 6 diapers twice per day (3 at a time) in order to keep my son in cloth full time, as we added diapers one by one as we could afford them. I never even considered using prefolds & covers because they seemed scary, confusing & complicated to me.
You may have heard my story of how when we were struggling financially, we built our cloth diaper stash a diaper or two at a time using money my husband earned by donating (selling) plasma (blood.) He wrote this guest post to share his experience!
