This is the last of the fabulous Thirsties giveaways in the Virtual Baby Shower Event! The Thirsties Duo Fab Fitted is the improved version of the much loved fab fitted diaper. It comes in six colors and your choice of aplix or snap closures. Like the duo diaper and duo wrap, each size has three snap down rise settings to fit from birth to potty training in just two sizes. Size 1 fits 6-18 lbs and size 2 fits 18-40 lbs! The duo fab fitted is also improved in that it has a “tunnel” style soaker that allows you to add additional absorbency underneath, and also makes for more thorough washing & faster drying than a fully sewn in soaker! Each Duo Fab Fitted diaper retails for $17.00.

Naturally, the Duo Fab Fitted goes hand in hand with the Duo Wrap! The wrap has the same duo sizing, comes in 9 colors, 5 fantastic prints, and snap or aplix closures! The PUL cover has double gussets to contain messes (just like the duo diaper) and you can wipe and reuse it. The wraps are free of VOC’s, PVC, phthalates, lead, and latex! Each duo wrap retails for $12.75 for solid colors, or $13.75 for prints.

Thirsties Duo Wrap & Duo Hemp Prefold Giveaway (CLOSED 10/20) US/Canada

Earlier this year, I did a photo review of a Thirsties Duo Wrap and Prefold. (Check out that post for all the details and photos!) I had won a cover & sized fitted in a giveaway, and chose the newborn sizes, even though I wasn’t expecting at that point! You may call it crazy, I call it planning ahead! Anyway, I wanted to compare the XS cover to the duo wrap, and I had a gift certificate, so I went for it!

Since my newborn isn’t here yet, I haven’t actually gotten to use this, but I have yet to meet a Thirsties product I don’t like!

The Thirsties Duo Wrap is essentially the same design as the duo diaper, only it’s a cover!

The duo wrap has a trimmer fit than the sized covers, so it’s perfect to use over prefolds or trim diapers. It comes in size 1 (6-18 pounds) and size 2 (18-40 pounds) to get you from birth to potty training with just 2 sizes!

The wraps come in 9 colors ($12.75 each) and 5 prints ($13.75 each.) They’re available with snaps as well as Velcro closures!

They pair perfectly with the duo hemp prefold, which also comes in size 1 and 2. The prefolds are super soft (and I mean soft) cotton hemp jersey, which is more durable and more absorbent than 100% cotton, and is naturally anti-microbial. They are sewn so that each portion is only 2 layers thick, so they are easier to get clean and dry (view my review for all the pics!) Each prefold retails for $7.00.

Thirsties Duo Cloth Diaper Giveaway (CLOSED 10/13) US/Canada

I bought my Thirsties Duo Diaper and published my Thirsties Duo Diaper review about 16 months ago. Take a look at it for all the detailed photos, info and measurements! (It is one that migrated from blogger to WordPress, so the text is a little squished, sorry! Manually fixing the spacing on all those posts is on my to-do list!)

16 months later and I still love this diaper. I bought the size two, which fit my son at a year old, and still fits him at 28 months old, with lots of room to grow. I haven’t had any of the longevity issues with the Velcro that I’ve had with some other diapers.

The Duo Diapers are “one-size style” with 3 snap down rise settings, but they come in two sizes. Size 1 is estimated to fit 6-18 lbs and size 2 fits 18-40 lbs. This means that two sizes of diapers should get you all the way through potty training.

I love this diaper not only because the open-on-both-ends pocket actually does allow the insert to agitate out in the wash, but for the insert itself. It’s actually two inserts that snap together: a 2-layer microfiber insert and a 5 layer 55% hemp, 45% cotton insert. You don’t need to unsnap them to wash, and not being sewn together means they are easier to get clean. I did notice that over time, they shrunk a little unevenly so they don’t lay exactly flat against each other, but once they’re in the diaper, you can’t tell. The microfiber/hemp combo is a favorite of mine. Put the microfiber side closest to baby so the moisture is wicked away quickly, then the hemp layer underneath locks it away. This is definitely a reliable “car ride” diaper!

The Duo Diaper retails for $18.50 in solid colors, and Thirsties just added “mud” (brown) to the lineup! The prints, including the adorable owl print, retail for $19.50. Thirsties also just announced that the Duo Diapers are now available with snap closures!!

AppleCheeks Printalicious Print Reveal, Review & Giveaway U.S./Canada (CLOSED 6/14)

This is it! The Applecheeks Printalicious Print Reveal! Be sure to RSVP for the Ustream Live Broadcast event tomorrow, June 8th from 9-10 P.M.Eastern. There will be lots of prizes!

This was the first time I’ve gotten to try an AppleCheeks diaper, and I received one with the bamboo insert. AppleCheeks diapers are designed and manufactured in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The print I received is called wild child!

It’s an adorable print with elephants, rhinos, alligators (or crocodiles, I don’t know the difference!) and whales enjoying tasty apples!

The other new print is called “Delicious,” and it’s equally adorable! Some of the other Printalicious bloggers received this print, so check them out for more photos of it!

Since AppleCheeks are new to me, I’m going to do a rundown of the features too! It has easy snap closures, and you can adjust the waist and leg snaps independently to get a great fit.

AppleCheeks also have both front and rear elastic, to guard against leaks!

The envelope covers have a super soft microfleece inner, and gentle leg elastic.

The wide envelope opening is easy to stuff, and allows the insert to come out in the wash!

The bamboo insert is ridiculously soft. I’d love to have a shirt or blanket made out of this! Aah! You can use it in the pocket, or trifold it and place it inside the envelope cover like an all-in-two.

It’s super easy to use. Just trifold it, and stick it in the pocket!

The AppleCheeks system is a two-size system. Size 1 fits approximately 7-20 lbs and size 2, 18-
40 pounds. You can even get waist extenders to make your AppleCheeks work even longer for your baby.

Since the print reveal was secret, and done on a short time span, I didn’t get to use the diaper as long as I normally would before reviewing it, I used it just twice. However, I can already tell the fit is great (and trim) and the insert is super absorbent! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s babies in these great new prints!

OsoCozy All-in-One Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway (CLOSED 4/12)

ClothDiaper.com sent me two OsoCozy All-in-One diapers to review. I had been eying them for a while, and I was excited to try them. They are U.S. made, have Velcro closures, are all-in-one style with soft cotton against baby, and though they only come in 3 colors, the colors are cute!

The diapers come in two sizes. Size 1/Small fits approximately 6-18 pounds, and size 2/Large fits about 18-35 pounds. They’re an all-in-one style with a PUL outer, so no cover is needed. I received both the bleached and unbleached version of the diaper in the size 2/Large.

Both versions have easy to use aplix closures with the ability to overlap, nice big laundry tabs and rear elastic.

The all-in-one style is very Daddy or babysitter friendly, since they go on just like a disposable!

You can choose between the bleached version, which is 100% cotton gauze, or the unbleached version, which is 100% cotton Birdseye weave. I did not notice any difference in performance or fit, so it’s just a matter of preference. Both diapers retail for just $14.95 each!

My son is somewhere around 22 pounds, and while the size 2 fit him, I think he could definitely fit in the size 1 as well! My husband put the diaper on him the first time with the Velcro completely overlapped, so one wing was attached to the front of the diaper, but the other was attached only to the other wing. Without being attached to the front of the diaper, the other wing eventually drooped! The next time we just made sure both wings were attached to the diaper!

I think the OsoCozy is well made, easy to use and absorbent. The aqua color is gorgeous and gender neutral, and I love the little bear in their logo! They are very affordable at $14.95 each too!
