Years ago, I contributed to several other websites. For some reason, at that time I didn’t want to venture too far out of cloth diapers on this site, so it was nice to branch out elsewhere. When I was working more, it became too stressful to keep up and write a new post for each site on a regular basis, so I bowed out of most. My posts on A Nation of Moms, my posts on Outnumbered 3-1 and my posts on Kelly Wels are still there and I see some of them repinned regularly (especially the vanilla cream cheese pancakes below)!

We love Amazon Prime for videos and have occasionally purchased or paid to rent movies or additional episodes. I just learned that we can add Showtime, Starz (loads of movies, including Inside Out, are included!), Comedy Central Stand Up and even fitness and workout channels with Amazon Add On Subscriptions.

Untangled – a Must Read for Every Parent of a Tween Girl

Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions into Adulthood by Lisa Damour, Ph.D. was recommended to me by several people, and after hunting for a used copy for a while, I finally bought one new. I cannot recommend Untangled enough and I think it should be required reading for any parent of a tween, or an adult family member who spends time with her.
