Sprout Change Diaper Review

Note from Maria: Wow, it’s been almost 5 years since I published my Sprout Change Diaper review! The Willow Store sent a Sprout Change diaper for Katie to now review. We were not otherwise compensated for this post and all opinions are Katie’s. I received the Sprout Change diaper system to review in the beautiful Robin’s Egg Shell. The blue and brown pair perfectly together.

Sprout Change is a diaper shell and insert system. The shells come in quite a few color choices, but what’s cool about it is that it is a reversible diaper! So this means you can pick between two different colors. It’s like you’re getting two covers in one! That’s a pretty awesome feature. This also changes the way the cover snaps. So you can choose to have it snapping in the front or side snapping. The shells can be used with any of your favorite prefolds or inserts, but work well with the Sprout Change Super Saver Inserts. The shell truly fits from 5-40 pounds without being too bulky on your tiny new baby. If you pair the shell with their inserts, the combination makes for a super trim diaper! Sprout Change uses a unique sizing system that makes it simple to adjust while your baby is wearing the diaper. All you have to do is open the wing pockets and adjust the hidden elastic in the legs and waist. Once you adjust the diaper to the size of your baby, you don’t have to readjust anything until your baby gets bigger.

Sprout Change has a few different choices for inserts that you can use. They have the Sprout Change Super Saver Inserts, Sprout Change Insides or Organic Hemp Prefolds. You can decide which insert will work best for you and your family. We paired the shell with the Sprout Change Super Saver Inserts and they were incredibly soft. It was absorbent without all the extra bulk added on. You can easily fold the insert down in the front or back when your baby is smaller and adjust as your baby grows. The Super Saver Inserts come in two great options. They have the Staydry which is an extremely soft micro-fleece on top of microfiber and will keep your little one super dry and comfortable. There’s also the Organic Cotton Fleece with organic hemp/cotton fleece that keeps your baby covered in natural fibers with awesome absorbency if you have a heavy wetter. It’s also fast absorbing so you don’t have to worry about leaks. You can get these in either a six pack or a single insert option.
