Dri-Line has been manufacturing products in Canada for the healthcare industry, for 22 years. Their Dri-Line Baby product line is also made in Canada, and includes cloth diapers, diaper covers and accessories.

I received three products to try. I took nice pictures of everything brand new & in their packages, then my memory card croaked! So all of these pictures were taken after washing.

The Bamboo Baby AIO is part of the Bamboo Baby line. The standard “one size” fits anywhere from 7 or 8 to 30-34 pounds, depending on the baby’s size and shape. You can choose snaps or hook & loop, and there are several colors available. A toddler size is available in white only and fits 25-45 lbs.

Even the hook & loop version features a hip snap to prevent wing droop.

The diaper has a PUL outer (the outer is made in the USA), is lined with soft rayon from bamboo fleece, and has a 3 layer rayon/bamboo fleece flap soaker that is sewn in the back.

The diaper also has front elastic and 3 rise settings.

Here is the small setting measured folded and stretched (this is, of course, approximate-not exact!)

My older son is about 2 years & 10 months old, and 29-30ish pounds. Many “one-size” diapers are starting to get rather low-rise on him, but the large fits him well.

The small setting fits my younger son well. He was just under 4 months old in this picture, and I’m guessing his weight at 13 pounds (I’ll update after his checkup!) The soaker was perfect to double over right in the wet zone since he’s such a heavy wetter.

Bamboo is very soft and absorbent, though like other bamboo diapers I have, it became a bit stiff after line drying. A quick tumble in the dryer & it was soft again.

You can find a variety of Dri-Line Baby products at Thanks Mama, including the Bamboo Baby AIO. You can find the diapers at Everything Birth as well. The MSRP per diaper is $18-22.

Dri-Line is accepting wholesale applications, so let your favorite retailer know that you’d like to see them carry Bamboo baby and/or Dri-Line Baby products! You can also connect with Dri-Line Baby on Facebook.

NEW Style – Tots Bots Easy Fit Cloth Diaper (From Bummis) Review

bummis easy fit 1

I had never used a Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper, but I did use the newborn version, a Tini Fit. Like the Tini Fit, the Easy Fit is made by Tots Bots in Glasgow, Scotland, and distributed in the U.S. by Bummis.

bummis easy fit 2 side bummis easy fit 3 back

Bummis sent me one of the new version Easy Fits to review, although they won’t be available to purchase until April. I don’t have an old version, and I’ve already sent along my Tini Fit to a new home (it would still fit my son, but I wanted to send all the newborn diapers to my friend at once!) So, I don’t have a side-by-side comparison for you, but I will point out the features that have been changed (including the wider back elastic, which you can see above!) I’m not sure if this is new, but I noticed that the PUL is really soft. It definitely has a different feel than all my other diapers.

bummis easy fit 4 velcro closures bummis easy fit 5 rise snaps

Whether you choose hook & loop or snaps (poppers) for your diaper (nappy), they are now color matched. Tots Bots are made in the U.K. so the Tots Bots Facebook page is full of “popper” and “nappy” talk. Tee-hee! The closure tabs are rather stiff on the Tini & Easy Fits, so I really wondered if they’d stay folded back and attached to the laundry tabs. Both the newborn and the big version didn’t give me any trouble. They have a snap down rise to fit babies 8-35 pounds, and the rise snaps are color matched as well.

bummis easy fit 6 leg elastic and fleece liner bummis easy fit 7 inner
bummis easy fit 8 soaker

Above left, I’ve pictured the fleece liner that was included with my diaper. The Easy Fit still has a half sewn-in soaker and brushed polyester side guards to prevent compression leaks. However, instead of a 2 layer soaker made of microfiber & rayon from bamboo, the soaker is 3 layers of color matched minky. This gives you more absorbency with less bulk.

bummis easy fit 9 soaker tucked in bummis easy fit 10 materials

The soaker is super easy to tuck in. It comes out on its own in the wash, but it doesn’t bunch or turn the whole diaper inside out. It gets cleaner & dries faster than an AIO with a completely sewn in soaker, and it’s quicker to stuff the soaker back in than it is to match and stuff pocket diapers. The pocket also allows you to add additional absorbency if you need it. The flap covering the pocket opening on my Tini Fit was the same brushed polyester as the side guards, but this Easy Fit is a different, even softer polyester.

Here is the small setting measured folded & stretched:

Below, I closed the left side of the diaper first. You can overlap the tabs (both of them,) and if you notice, the right tab extends further, allowing you to close the diaper even more tightly if you close the left tab on top of it.

My older son is 2 years, 9 months old and in the neighborhood of 29ish pounds. I put him in the large setting, and he looks like he has room in this one.

My little guy had just turned 3 months old last week when I took these pictures. He’s around 11 pounds (guessing…he was 10 lbs a month ago) and he’s somewhat slender since he’s a bit taller.

The small setting fits him with no leg gap, without struggling or double checking that it’s snug enough. This is what it looks like all the way closed, with that entire overlap being used.

bummis easy fit 29 on 3 mo old bummis easy fit 30 on 11ish lb 3 mo old

The Tini Fit was one of my favorite newborn diapers because it gave me the absorbency I needed (with the booster, it was as absorbent as (if not more than) a one-size diaper, but fit far better. The Easy Fit fits my little guy with no gapping or readjusting, and fits my big guy too. Plus, it’s absorbent enough for both of them! My younger son can soak a one-size microfiber insert in 2 hours, and so far the Easy Fit has lasted longer than that without a hint of leaking. That said, I have a hard time comparing the absorbency of inserts since both boys can really have a wide variation in their wetting habits. Since I can’t remove this insert it’s not as easy to tell how wet it is as it is when you yank a sopping wet microfiber insert out of a pocket. I’m still trying to find a good way to test insert absorbency “scientifically,” but Bummis says the old style Easy Fit can hold 17.6 oz (wow!) and I believe this is more absorbent.

You will be able to find the new style Easy Fit (and new prints) at Bummis Retailers in April. The new Tots Bots Easy Fit diapers will still retail for $23.95. You can see new prints & colors in Tots Bots’ Facebook album and they have photos of the inners as well. I pretty much want one in every color. 😉

Ones & Twos are easy to use, all-in-one cloth diapers

Ones & Twos are designed to be very easy to use, even for those new to cloth. Therefore, they only come in hook & loop (Velcro) closures.

They have soft laundry tabs, and the hook part of the hook & loop is a little unusual, different than others I’ve seen. It’s more of a stiff plastic. Very hard to explain and equally difficult to photograph, but I tried!

These 4 settings are designed to fit babies from 6 1/2-39 lbs.

The Ones & Twos offers the best of both worlds, with both a sewn in soaker, and also a front opening pocket to add additional absorbency.

Bamboo boosters are available separately, but each diaper comes with a microfiber booster. The best part is that the booster is topped with stay-dry microfleece, so you can just lay it right inside the diaper, without dealing with stuffing and un-stuffing.

Here is the XS/Newborn setting (6.5-13 lbs) measured folded and stretched (not an exact science!):

I put my 29ish pound 2 1/2 year old in the large setting:

ones & twos 36 on 29 lb 2.5 yo ones & twos 37 on 2.5 yo
ones & twos 38 on 29 lb toddler ones & twos 39 back

He definitely needs the included booster since he is an unpredictable heavy wetter. He isn’t big into the potty yet, but he tends to “hold it” and soak a diaper all at once sometimes!

I also tried the XS/Newborn setting on my 8 1/2 ish pound 6 week old:

ones & twos 40 8.5 lb 6 wk old ones & twos 41

It fit him well too, with no leg gap. It didn’t seem nearly as bulky as other one-size diapers are on him. I didn’t have any trouble snapping a newborn size onesie over it. The pictures make it look like the waist/rear elastic is digging in on both the boys, but it wasn’t at all.

While Ones & Twos don’t have lots of colors and prints (there are 6 colors, plus white) and don’t come in snaps, they are a great value and are super, super easy to use. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to someone thinking about switching from disposables to cloth since I think it would be an easy transition. My big question is how the velcro will hold up, and only time will tell. So far it has been fine with the handful of washes it’s been through, though it is pretty “grippy” and takes a bit of yanking to get it off the laundry tabs!

Ones & Twos Diapers solid colors retail for $16.95 each, or $79.95 ($15.99 each) for a 5-pack of white diapers. Find a Ones & Twos retailer, follow Ones & Twos on Twitter and “like” Ones & Twos on Facebook.

Giveaway: One reader will receive a Ones & Twos diaper in his/her choice of color. (ARV $16.95.) Entries go in the Rafflecopter form.

Thirsties NEW Duo AIO Cloth Diaper Review

thirsties duo aio 1

The Duo AIO cloth diaper is a brand new, U.S.A. made item from Thirsties.

thirsties duo aio 1-2 tag thirsties duo aio 1-3 back of tag

Like the duo wrap, duo diaper and duo fitted, the duo AIO comes in size 1 (6-18 lbs/0-9 months) and size 2 (18-40 lbs/9-36 months) so you can truly take your child from birth to potty training with 2 sizes.

thirsties duo aio 2 closures thirsties duo aio 3 rise snaps

You can choose snap or hook & loop closures, and each size has a snap down rise to get a custom fit with 3 sizes within each size.

thirsties duo aio 4 leg elastic

The duo AIO has leg & waist elastic like the fitteds rather than the double gussets of the wraps & pockets.

thirsties duo aio 5 tunnel soaker thirsties duo aio 6 gets clean add absorbency
with addl insert under

It also has a tunnel soaker (3 layers of microfiber) like the duo fab fitted. It doesn’t have the hemp that makes me love the duo pocket, but the tunnel design allows you to add absorbency, as well as allowing for more thorough cleaning and faster drying. The inner of the diaper is soft, stay-dry microfleece.

Here you can see that the duo AIO is much more similar to the duo fab fitted

thirsties duo aio 7 duo fitted vs aio thirsties duo aio 8 duo fitted vs aio 2

Than the duo pocket (accidentally had the duo pocket on the small setting vs the AIO’s large in this photo):

thirsties duo aio 9 duo fitted vs pocket thirsties duo aio 10 duo fitted vs pocket 2

The sizing is also more similar to the fitteds.

Here’s the Thirsties Duo AIO size 1/small setting on my 6 week old, 8.5ish lb son:

To compare, here he is the same day in a Duo Pocket (print), duo fab fitted (honeydew) and wrap (honeydew also.)

thirsties duo pocket on 8.5 lb 6 wk old thirsties duo fab fitted on 8.5 lb 6 wk old
thirsties duo wrap on 8.5 lb 6 wk old

I have pictures of the fab fitted on my son at days old and 6 lbs 5 oz in my newborn cloth diaper post if you’re curious about fit on a smaller baby!

This diaper is designed to be both easy to use, and affordable. 8 solid colors (plus white) retail for just $15.75, and prints are $1 more. This is $3 less than the duo pocket diaper however, hemp inserts retail for $9.00/2 pack. So, if you need the extra absorbency of hemp all the time, in every diaper, you’re not really saving over the pocket since it includes the 2 piece insert.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to someone new to cloth, who wants something affordable, that’s also super easy to use and wash!

Incredibum Cloth Diaper Review

Incredibum Diaper 1

I don’t enter many giveaways anymore, so it’s no big surprise that I rarely win! I did enter a giveaway for an Incredibum diaper from This Mama Loves Her Bargains a few months ago, and I won!

Incredibum Diaper 2 front and back elastic Incredibum Diaper 3 leg elastic

The Incredibum has elastic in front and back, a microfleece inner and TPU outer.

Incredibum Diaper 4 closures Incredibum Diaper 5 snap closures snap down rise

There are a lot of snaps on the wings. My husband would most likely toss this one back if he “fished” it out of the diaper basket! It’s a one size diaper with a snap down rise.

Incredibum Diaper 6 soakers snap together Incredibum Diaper 7 soakers snap in

The diaper has two bamboo/cotton blend soakers that snap together and snap into the shell. Some people consider this an all-in-two or all-in-three style, while others refer to it as an all-in-one. Though you can’t wipe the shell to reuse it, you can snap in clean inserts if the shell isn’t soiled.

Incredibum Diaper 8 soakers in diaper Incredibum Diaper 9 small soaker only

You can use the small soaker alone for less bulk on a smaller baby that doesn’t need as much absorbency.

Here’s the small setting measured folded and stretched:

Incredibum Diaper 10 small folded Incredibum Diaper 11 small stretched
Incredibum Diaper 12 small Incredibum Diaper 13 small side
Incredibum Diaper 14 small back

Medium:

Incredibum Diaper 15 medium folded Incredibum Diaper 16 medium stretched
Incredibum Diaper 17 medium Incredibum Diaper 18 medium side
Incredibum Diaper 19 medium back

Large:

Incredibum Diaper 20 large folded Incredibum Diaper 21 large streched
Incredibum Diaper 22 large Incredibum Diaper 23 large side
Incredibum Diaper 24 large back

Here’s my son in the large setting at 2 1/2 years old and about 28 lbs:

Incredibum Diaper 24 large on 28 lb baby Incredibum Diaper 25 large on 1.5 yr old
Incredibum Diaper 26 side Incredibum Diaper 27 back

I really didn’t care for the fit on him. I think it’s partially the front elastic, but also the soaker being snapped in is pulling the front down/keeping it from stretching I believe. I think it might fit better on a smaller setting/smaller child, or if I left the soaker unsnapped.

It looks like each diaper with inserts retails for $16.85.

Have you tried Incredibum? What did you think?

FTC compliance: I won this diaper in a giveaway. I was not asked to write, nor was I compensated for this post, and all opinions are my own.
