I had no idea how to title this post. What my daughter wanted for her birthday, was for her and I to have a “girl’s day” and go shopping, have lunch and…get our nails done. We did this Sunday. I had hoped to skate by with just getting her a manicure but no…the two of us ended up getting “spa pedicures” and manicures. Perhaps I am the only one, but I did not find this at all relaxing. I just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible and get out.
Let’s face it. Kids are messy (some more than others), no matter what they do. Play dough is one of those things that can be extra messy. As much as I like things neat & clean, certain things are worth cleaning up the mess. Your baby learning to feed him/herself, your kiddos “helping” cook/bake, art projects, play dough…

When we traveled with cloth diapers, I felt like my mother-in-law’s 25+ year old top loader did a better job washing cloth diapers than my expensive HE machine. I thought it would be nice to have a top loader to wash diapers in…well be careful what you wish for.
